Following the 9.00 p.m. BWS forecast, please note the latest video update from the Minister of National Security, Michael Weeks, JP, MP.

The Minister is joined by the on-duty Meteorologist at the Bermuda Weather Service, James Dodgson, and Noel Martin, National Disaster Coordinator, Disaster Risk Reduction Mitigation (DRRM) Team.

Additionally, the Emergency Measures Organisation (EMO) will continue to assess the storm’s developments over the next several hours. It is expected that at first light, work crews and members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment will be moving about the island, assessing any damage and engaged in cleanup and restoration activities.

It is imperative that residents and motorists stay off the roads so that these crews can conduct their critical works. The public is again reminded to ensure that they take the appropriate steps to safeguard themselves.
